The dangers of Vaporizing cannabis aren’t just limited to those who are using it recreationally either. Children are actually showing a heightened interest in trying Vaporized cannabis aswell, according to a study published in-may 2021 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health. This study was done by the National Institute of Mental Health, that is a government agency within the US Department of Education. Researchers examined the smoking behaviors of twenty-three children, including ten who smoked cigarettes regularly and fifteen who didn’t smoke at all. It was found that even children who have been only occasional marijuana smokers were willing to try vaporizing cannabis. Interestingly, this study didn’t consider the long-term effects of E-Cigs on these children’s long-term smoking habits, only their short-term ones.
Overall, it would appear that the dangers of E-Cigs are pretty much exactly what one would expect from combustible using tobacco. The only real difference is that rather than inhaling toxic gases, smoke is created in an E-Cig, instead of blowing out of a normal cigarette. The biggest dangers of E-Cigs are from vaporizing toxins in your lungs instead of from actual combustion.
